A ceramic baffle board is an ideal alternative for replacing your stove baffle. Compared to other ceramic fiberboards, this ceramic fiber Baffle Board is designed specifically for applications requiring low thermal conductivity, high compressive strength, and modulus of rupture with greater resistance to corrosion by hot gases. This board has a slight odor during initial firing until the organic binders are burned off. After that, it will be pure white and odorless. Ceramic Insulation Board is rated up to 2300F (1260C) peak and 2100F (1149C) continuous use with a melting point of 3200F(1760C). It has been pre-surface treated, which makes it more robust and dust-free. •These pre-cut baffle boards measure 0.5" x 12.5" x 18.5" (approx.) and can be used to replace the Quadra fire baffle, but it can also be used for any other heat resistant purpose. This board can be cut to any shape and size using a small toothed hacksaw blade, knife drill, and machine. This board is not as strong as firebrick. Density: 45 Pcf (Min).
