Why we don't use memory foam in our camp mattresses?  1.  Memory foam is much heavier than traditional open cell foam.  2. The density changes depending on the temperature.  Too cold outside?  Your mattress is stiff as a board.  Too hot?  You sink in to the memory foam and feel trapped in warm cocoon.  Memory home makes much more sense in a controlled temp environment where the mattress doesn't have to be moved daily, like in a home. But for camping? Hard Pass.
